HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid

AGE REQUIREMENT:
Participants wishing to complete this training are to be 14 years of age or turning 14 in the calendar within which the course is to be held to participate in this course.

PHYSICAL CAPACITY
This course requires practical application of Resuscitation skills that will require kneeling on the floor. Candidates need to successfully complete the practical components under the award conditions in order to achieve a Statement of Attainment.

USI REQUIREMENT:

Please Note: This Course consists of one or more Units of Competency and has performance measures which must be achieved.

If these measures are not met you will be deemed ‘Not Yet Competent’ (NYC), which means at the time of assessment you were not able to achieve the required outcomes of the Unit of Competency.

You will be asked to complete an NYC form which highlights the assessments you were deemed not yet competent in, the reason why and the chosen reassessment pathway. For further information please speak to the trainer delivering your course.

PRE-COURSE LEARNING: 
Candidates are required to complete and bring their Pre-Course Learning records to the course.
Candidates will receive access to their online pre-course materials upon booking. 
Failure to complete the Pre-Course Learning may result in a forfeit of participation on the chosen course date. Trainers reserve the right to refuse participation if the Pre-Course Learning have not been completed satisfactorily prior to the course.
